What to Wear

When it comes to kids headshots there are certain colours and patterns that work best.

We have put together a guide to help you choose what clothes to bring to get the most awesome headshots. Please have a read and download our What to Wear guide and mood board here.

Please bring what you have that works best with our guide, but don't worry about buying new items or bringing a lot of choices. We will work with what you have.

The most important thing is to have fun, be comfortable and Be Awesome!

Solid Colors: Bring a few different solid colors as well as a white T shirt or tank.
Bring a bright option too!

Patterns: Simple patterns such as stripes or polka dots. Avoid busy patterns and designs. Subtle patterns will work best.

Denim: Bring a denim jacket or vest and a pair of jeans. This can match well with lots of different colors. It works great with a white T shirt too.

Layers: Layers are a great way to create a new look quickly. Jackets, vests, shirts all work well.

Simple accessories: Minimal accessories are best such as a headband or small necklace/earrings.
Beanies work great too!

Avoid big or chunky accessories.

Bright Colours: Bright & bold colors work too! This will add a pop of color and bring out your kids personality.

Please remember to arrive with clean nails (no polish), no fake lashes and with your hair ready to shoot.
Bring any hair brushes or products you might need.

Dresses you would wear to a wedding/family party

Sports wear
