Be Awesome is a Kids & Teens headshot studio.
Based in Los Angeles, we provide professional headshots that capture your kids personality.
After running one of the top headshot studios in Los Angeles for over 15 years, we noticed a need for kids headshots that met the same high caliber as those provided for adults.

We are female owned and operated with backgrounds in photography, kids theatre, and running a talent agency.

So Be Awesome Kids headshots was born!

FAQ's
WHERE DO WE SHOOT/ WILL WEATHER AFFECT MY SHOOT?​
Everything is shot indoors at the Be Awesome Studio in Burbank or at your location. Weather will not change or cancel the shoot, so no need to worry about that!​

WHAT IF I HAVE 2 OR MORE KIDS I WOULD LIKE TO BOOK FOR? ​
We would recommend a sibling shoot for 1hour which is great for 2 kids. Our sibling shoot is our Duet session for $659.
For 3 Kids, we offer It's a Party for $900.
If there are more than 3 kids then please reach out to ask about our group rates.

WHAT SHOULD MY KIDS WEAR? ​
Great Question! We have a detailed guide on What to Wear - please go to the What to wear page and you can download all our recommendations. We highly recommend following our guidelines as close as possible to get the best Headshots for your kids.
Please ensure your kids nails are clean with no nail polish.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY KID IS SICK ON THE DAY?
Please follow the same guidelines as you would to send your kid to school. If you can't attend your booking, please reschedule.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR A SIBLING?
If you would like to have a sibling or friend attend for headshots, then please look at our sibling package or contact us for group rates. We do not recommend bringing a friend just to watch. ​
Please remember that all kids need an adult guardian/parent present at all times during the session.

CAN MY CHILD ATTEND ALONE?​
No. All kids must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian who must be present for the duration of the session.
Be Awesome will refuse any shoot without a parent/guardian in attendance. ​

CAN I BOOK A HAIR / MAKEUP ARTIST?​
We don't think Hair and Makeup is needed for younger kids.
However, f you would like to book Hair and Makeup for older kids & teens then please email us info@beawesomekidsheadshots.com​​​ and we will send you our prefered supplier list so you can co-ordinate and book directly with hair/makeup.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY SHOOT?
In the days following your shoot you will get an email to an online gallery of your shoot. You can then download and save your images and share with friends and family or your agent or manager. ​​​​​
Please remember to save to your computer or hard drive before the expiration date.

OK I AM READY TO BOOK ...WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?
Awesome! We can't wait to work with you. Please fill out our Contact Form and let us know what session you would like to book (include number of kids and ages). We will then email you back with dates and availability.

WILL MY IMAGES BE RETOUCHED?
We do not recommend a lot of retouching for kids, however, we can offer retouching for anything that arises on the day (such as fly away hairs and scratches). Our retouching costs are $30 per image, and you can purchase retouching directly from your gallery.

DO YOU HAVE A WAITLIST?
Yes! Once you book a date please let us know if you want to be added to the waitlist for an earlier date. If someone has to cancel or reschedule then we will notify everyone on the list in the order they were added and you will be offered the chance to shoot sooner.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
We will take a retainer of 50% of the total due to confirm a booking - This is charged at the time of booking. The remainder will be charged on the shoot day.
If you need to reschedule, please contact info@beawesomekidsheadshots.com with at least 24 hours notice. Your retainer can go towards your next booking.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact info@beawesomekidsheadshots.com asap.
Your retainer can go towards your next booking if you reschedule with at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full retainer fee without refund. If you find a replacement for your session, we can transfer the retainer and we will do everything we can to find a replacement from our side but there is no guarantee. ​

DO YOU HAVE A CHILD PERFORMER SERVICES PERMIT?
YES! All our staff and photographers hold Child Performer Services Permits.
